personal values can be harmful to our sense of psychological safety and cause us to disconnect from ourselves.
Revealing our vulnerabilities is the essence of authenticity, and it may not be
accepted by everyone. However, true belonging comes from authentically being ourselves with those we chose to share life experiences with.
Self-acceptance can be a challenge, but embracing our own strengths and
weaknesses will better allow us to achieve personal growth and success.
Seek environments where your authenticity is valued. Release the desire to try to be “enough” for everyone.
Loving the full, imperfect humanity of ourselves and others while maintaining
healthy boundaries and mutual respect is the cornerstone of navigating the
complexities of relationships.
